Buy & Give Donations Top $340,000

Millcraft is celebrating this holiday season and more than $340,000 to date in donations to eight specially selected non-profit organizations through its Buy & Give copy paper purchasing program.

Since 2014, Millcraft’s “Buy & Give” initiative has provided businesses the opportunity to support local charities through routine purchases of “Buy & Give” brand office paper. For every carton of paper purchased, Millcraft donates $1 to the program.  Millcraft partners with Domtar – the leading producer of uncoated papers in North America – to market “buy & give” multi-purpose paper throughout Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York and West Virginia.

The 2018 “Buy & Give” organizations are:  Blessings in a Back Pack (Louisville); Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (Cincinnati); C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital/University of Michigan Health System (Detroit); Hospice of Dayton (Dayton); Hospice of the Western Reserve(Cleveland); Make a Wish – Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana (Indianapolis); Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus); and Turnstone Center (Fort Wayne).

“The continued success of our “Buy & Give” program over the past four years is ultimately a reflection of Millcraft’s mission as a company, which is to meaningfully impact those with whom we work each and every day,” says Millcraft President Travis Mlakar.  “That includes our local communities that have supported us for the 98 years that we’ve been in business.   The fact that we can accomplish this level of funding for our designated “Buy & Give” organizations through our customers’ simple purchases of their every-day copy paper makes the program’s impact all the more rewarding. I couldn’t be prouder of the way our regional teams have embraced this program to give back to the areas we serve through their hand-chosen, local non-profits.”
