That commitment has reached an exciting new milestone: Millcraft has earned a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis, a globally recognized provider of business sustainability ratings.
What Is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis assesses companies on their sustainability management systems across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The assessment looks at the policies, actions and reporting an organization has in place to manage sustainability throughout its operations and value chain.
Earning a Bronze Medal places Millcraft among the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis during the 12 months prior to the medal issue date. For us, this recognition represents both the progress we’ve made and our continued commitment to finding meaningful ways to operate responsibly.
Building on a Longstanding Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability has long been an important part of Millcraft’s approach to doing business.
As a paper, packaging and graphic arts merchant, we understand the importance of responsible sourcing and providing customers with options that can help support their own environmental goals. Millcraft adheres to both Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) Chain-of-Custody Standards in providing responsibly sourced paper products.
But sustainability goes beyond the products we provide. It also means continually evaluating how we operate, how we work with our supply partners and how we can make a positive impact throughout our organization and the communities we call home.
Progress Worth Celebrating and Building Upon
For more than 100 years, Millcraft has been guided by a commitment to positively and meaningfully impact the people we work with every day, including our co-workers, customers, supply partners, families, communities and friends.
The EcoVadis Bronze Medal is another step forward in that journey.
We’re proud of this recognition, but we also know sustainability is an ongoing process. As expectations, technologies and opportunities continue to evolve, so will our efforts to make responsible choices and provide solutions that help our customers do the same.
